Painted: 2/10/26-ish. I got the Darkwater box for all of the unique and interesting models, but really only spent time with this guy. This is the point, overall, that I decided to finish entire projects instead of just painting individual models, because my pile of shame is too big and making me feel stressed out and rushed.
Started using my airbrush here, which resulted in much quicker, easier space marines. For army painting, it kinda makes them trivial to paint, which I think is the point. I like ’em a lot though.
Completely lost track of when there were made, but I definitely like the vibe here way more than the previous clan rat. Maybe it’s the other one’s dumb, bald head.

Used a dark purple as the base coat, then dry brushed over it in green.
I don’t love painting basic guns and bolters, and I think it shows. Need to find a simple method to make it look good.
